Thanksgiving photos. Out-of-town family. Hosting friends. Holiday cards. The November deep clean is the single most important seasonal cleaning of the year for LA households — and the most-booked. Our pre-holiday clean resets your home top to bottom in one visit. From $290 flat-rate, eco-friendly, licensed.
Licensed, insured, eco-friendly. Flat-rate pricing — no hidden fees.
Local seasonality, weather, and demand all push booking windows tighter than most homeowners expect.
A focused, written checklist for this season — every item included, no hourly billing surprises.
Bedroom-count pricing. No hourly billing. All supplies and tax included. Holiday-window pricing locked in October.
Add Thanksgiving morning-of touch-up for $150 (1-hour 2-cleaner refresh). Add post-Thanksgiving recovery for $190 (kitchen reset + dish handling). Pair with a January post-holiday clean and lock in 10% off both.
If you only book one professional deep clean a year, make it the first or second week of November. There is no other window in the LA cleaning calendar where the demands on a home compress this hard. Within a 6-week stretch, most homes will host out-of-town family for Thanksgiving, get photographed for holiday cards, host at least one major social event, and welcome friends and neighbors for casual gatherings — all while the kitchen runs at restaurant-level intensity for the largest cooking week of the year.
And the LA-specific complications stack on top. By early November we are deep into Santa Ana wind season, which means dust and debris from the canyons get blown into homes through every poorly-sealed window and door. Wildfire-related smoke residue, if there has been a major event in October or early November, settles invisibly on every surface. The marine layer has retreated, the air is dry, and dust accumulates faster than at any other time of year. The kitchen, which has been on light duty all summer, is about to absorb a Thanksgiving-week pounding. The guest bathroom, which may not have been used heavily since spring, needs a full reset. Bedrooms that doubled as offices need to function as guest rooms.
The pre-holiday clean is built to handle all of that in a single visit. We are not doing a maintenance pass; we are doing a full reset that gets the home to a baseline that can absorb the next six weeks. Inside the oven, because Thanksgiving will leave the oven looking unrecognizable if it starts at half-clean. Inside the fridge, because it will be packed for two weeks straight starting the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Guest bathrooms scrubbed because they will be in heavy use. Floors, baseboards, and rugs deep-cleaned because they are about to absorb the foot traffic of every visitor. This is not vanity cleaning — it is preparation cleaning, and the difference shows in how the home holds up across the season.
Kitchen first and hardest. The Thanksgiving oven works at full intensity for 6–10 hours, and any pre-existing grease or carbon will burn into a permanent layer if not removed first. We fully degrease the oven interior, scrub racks, polish the glass, replace or degrease the hood filter, and clear the range top of any film. Inside the fridge gets emptied (shelves and drawers out), washed, dried, and reinstalled — this matters because the fridge will be packed full of prep ingredients within days of Thanksgiving, and you want the surfaces clean before that. Cabinet fronts get degreased because they will be touched constantly during cooking week.
Dining room next. Tabletop polished or treated for whatever finish it is, chairs vacuumed (especially upholstered chairs that will host guests for 3-hour meals), light fixture above the table cleaned (because Thanksgiving photos always include the chandelier shadow), windows in the dining room polished. If you have china or special-occasion glassware that lives in a sideboard, we wipe the sideboard but do not touch the china unless specifically requested.
Guest spaces. Guest bedroom: full reset including dust on all surfaces, vacuum of carpet or rug, mattress vacuumed, fresh linens if you provide them, closet floor wiped. Guest bathroom: full deep clean including grout, glass, fixtures, behind toilet, vanity inside and out. Front entryway: full clean because it is the first thing every visitor sees — door wiped, hardware polished, doormat vacuumed, baseboards detailed.
Living areas. HEPA-vacuum sofas, chairs, and area rugs to remove the dust that has accumulated through October's dry-Santa-Ana stretch. Wipe baseboards, door frames, picture frame tops. Clean ceiling fans by disassembly (not in-place dusting). Polish and check any soft-close hinges on cabinets so they do not become a holiday-week embarrassment. Vacuum and damp-wipe window tracks. Polish interior windows so the November light comes through clean.
Bathrooms across the home. Even bathrooms that will not be used by guests get the full deep clean treatment because the household uses them more intensively in the holiday weeks (everyone is home more, more showering, more guests in and out). Grout scrubbed line by line. Glass descaled. Toilets full deep clean including base and behind tank. Mirrors streak-free. Exhaust fans HEPA-vacuumed (this almost never gets done and is a major dust source).
Bedrooms. Full vacuum including under the bed and behind nightstands. Dust on all flat surfaces. Window sills wiped. Closet floors vacuumed. Mattresses HEPA-vacuumed (this matters more in November because everyone spends more time indoors and bedrooms get more use). Fresh linens placed if provided.
If you are hosting Thanksgiving, book the Monday or Tuesday before. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving is the single most-requested cleaning slot in our calendar and we cannot accommodate everyone — book six weeks ahead in mid-October if you want it. Saturday-before-Thanksgiving fills almost as fast.
If you are not hosting but you have holiday photos planned, book 1–2 days before the photoshoot. The home photographs better when it has been touched within 48 hours, especially under daylight or warm-tungsten setups where dust shows on every surface.
If you are not hosting and not getting photos, book the first or second week of November anyway. This will be your November-through-mid-December baseline, and it sets up biweekly maintenance to handle the rest of the season comfortably. December tends to be hosting-recovery and pre-NYE cleaning — see our Holiday Hosting Cleaning page for that.
We do not do carpet shampooing as a default — it is a separate add-on at $75–150 per room because it requires drying time that pushes our crew schedule. If your carpets need shampooing before Thanksgiving, book it for the first week of November so it dries fully and we follow up with the deep clean a week later. We can coordinate.
We do not do window-exterior cleaning above ground floor — that requires specialized window-cleaning service. We do all interior windows including streak-free polish. If you want both interior and exterior windows done before Thanksgiving, book your window cleaner for the same week so both happen in alignment.
We do not move large furniture beyond what is reasonable for cleaning underneath. We will move a sofa, vacuum, and put it back. We will not move a bookcase to vacuum behind it — that is a moving job and requires its own service. Same for refrigerators (we do not move them unless specifically requested and the floor is verified) and large freezers.
