Christmas dinner, Hanukkah parties, NYE bashes, neighborhood holiday open houses — December is hosting season and your home shows it. We do pre-party prep cleans (24–48 hours before) and next-morning recovery cleans (the morning after). Same crew, same standard, both ends of the event. From $290 flat-rate, eco-friendly, licensed.

Local seasonality, weather, and demand all push booking windows tighter than most homeowners expect.
A focused, written checklist for this season — every item included, no hourly billing surprises.
Each visit is flat-rate by home size. Bundle pre + post for a 10% discount. All supplies and tax included.

LA hosting in December is a particular kind of intensity. The weather is often the city's best of the year (60s and clear), which means parties spill onto patios and pool areas, more guests come and stay longer, and the home is open in a way it does not get the rest of the year. People show up coming from beach walks, hiking, Griffith Park hikes, kid sports tournaments — they bring outside in. Houses that handle this well have one thing in common: they reset before and after.
We do the December calendar in two passes. The pre-party clean is 24–48 hours before your event and focuses on hosting areas: kitchen, dining, living, primary guest bath, and entryway. We do not deep-clean the entire home for a pre-party because there is no point — bedrooms and back areas will not be used. Instead we go intense on the spaces guests will see and touch, and we polish details (chandelier, glassware, dining chairs, hand-towel stage) that elevate how the home reads when guests walk in. This is hosting prep, not annual deep cleaning.
The morning-after recovery is the more urgent of the two. We arrive between 8 AM and 12 PM the morning after your event, with the goal of getting the home back to baseline before you have time to wake up and feel demoralized by the mess. Dishwasher gets loaded and run. Glassware washed and dried. Trash and recycling staged. Kitchen and dining reset. Bathrooms rescrubbed (high-use during a party). Spills spot-treated. Floors mopped. Most morning-afters take 3–5 hours and the home is back to pre-party condition before lunch.
Why two visits and not one? Because the work is different. The pre-party clean is appearance and detail work — making the home look hosted. The morning-after is recovery work — making the mess go away. Trying to do both with one visit (the day after the party, deep-cleaning everything) means the home looks bad during the event and the recovery work happens at lower intensity because of fatigue.
Kitchen and dining first. Counters cleared and polished. Sink fully scrubbed and shined. Range top and oven door polished (oven interior is not part of pre-party scope unless you tell us). Fridge front cleaned (interior only on request). Cabinet handles and door fronts wiped. Dining table polished or treated for whatever finish. Dining chairs vacuumed and seats wiped. Chandelier or pendant light above the table dusted. China cabinet exterior and glass polished if applicable.
Hosting bathroom (whichever bathroom guests will use). Full deep clean: grout scrubbed, glass and mirrors polished, fixtures shined, toilet base and behind-tank cleaned, vanity inside and out wiped, floor edges and baseboards detailed, exhaust fan dusted, fresh towels staged if provided, soap and amenities checked.
Living areas where guests will gather. Sofa and chair upholstery vacuumed (cushions removed and underneath cleaned). Throw pillows fluffed. Coffee table polished. Side tables wiped. Floors mopped (hardwood) or vacuumed (rug). Window glass polished where guests can see them. Fireplace surround cleaned if you use it. Throw blankets folded.
Entryway. First impression and most important. Door handle and door panel wiped. Doormat vacuumed and beaten outside. Baseboards detailed. Coat closet floor cleaned. Mirror polished. Console table wiped. Floor scrubbed. Outside-facing porch lights wiped if reachable.
Kitchen first because it is always the worst. We load and run the dishwasher (multiple loads if needed), hand-wash any items that need it, dry and put away. Counters cleared, scrubbed, polished. Sink reset. Range top and exterior of oven/microwave wiped (interior on request, separate scope). Recycling sorted and staged for pickup. Trash bagged and removed. Floor mopped.
Dining and living. Tabletops and chair surfaces wiped and polished. Crumbs vacuumed from chairs and floor. Tablecloth removed and folded if non-disposable, or bagged for cleaning. Stemware that did not make it to the dishwasher hand-washed. Throw pillows reset. Spilled drinks spot-treated on upholstery, carpet, or tablecloths (we use enzymatic cleaners for wine, champagne, and food spills; no bleach unless you specifically request).
Bathrooms. Hosting bathrooms get the most use during a party — we rescrub everything: toilet, sink, mirror, glass, floor edges, vanity. Replace hand towels with fresh ones if provided. Restock soap and amenities.
Trash, recycling, and outside. All trash bagged and moved to the bin. Recycling sorted (LA has specific rules — we follow them) and staged in the recycling bin. Outdoor party areas (patio, pool deck) reset: chairs straightened, surfaces wiped, leftover bottles and glasses collected.
Hosting with kids: we can do a midnight-to-2-AM check-in clean during NYE for clients who do not want to deal with the bathroom situation at midnight when the kids are running around. Costs $150 extra and is limited to NYE specifically — must be booked by mid-December.
Hosting with pets: pet hair gets shed at 5x normal rate during a party because of stress and excitement. We HEPA-vacuum upholstery, rugs, and any soft surface that the pet uses. We do not bathe pets — that is a separate service — but we can recommend pet-bathing services we trust if your event includes pets being part of it.
Multi-day events (Christmas Eve through New Year): we offer a multi-day cleaning package that covers pre-Christmas-Eve, post-Christmas-morning recovery, mid-week reset, pre-NYE, and post-NYE recovery for one bundled rate. Most clients who host through the week of Christmas-to-NYE choose this. Call for custom pricing — runs $1,400–$2,800 depending on home size.
We do not bartend, serve, or staff your event. We are cleaners, not catering or event staff. If you want service staff during the event, your caterer or a dedicated event-staffing company is the right hire.
We do not deal with broken-glass cleanup if there is risk of injury — we will move broken pieces with appropriate equipment but recommend you have your guest book a real cleanup if a major incident occurs (a chandelier falling, a window breaking). We can refer.
We do not handle dishwashing of irreplaceable hand-wash-only items unless you specifically request it and walk us through care instructions. By default we hand-wash standard glassware and stemware, but heirloom items go in a labeled box for you to handle.
We do not move or lift large furniture (sofas, dining tables) for cleaning underneath during morning-after. The morning-after is a recovery clean, not a deep clean. If you want under-furniture cleaning, book a separate deep clean for the week after the holidays.
