Everything a newsroom typically asks for, in one place: brand assets, color and type guidance, an up-to-date fact sheet, founder biography in three lengths, and release-signed photography. The full bundle is downloadable as a single ZIP, and individual components are available below for reporters who only need a piece of the kit.
Illustrative content. Download links on this page point to a placeholder route at /press/kit/download. Final ZIP bundles, photography, and signed releases are sent directly by our press desk on request — please email press@thedetailcrew.net for the live files.
Most cleaning companies do not maintain a press kit because most cleaning companies do not get covered by the press. We started maintaining one the first time a Westside reporter emailed at six in the evening on a Friday asking for a logo and a 150-word bio by ten the next morning. The page below is built to answer that kind of request without anyone having to wait for an email reply.
The kit is split into three layers. The brand assets layer covers the visual system — logo files, color values, and typography guidance — at the level of detail a layout editor or partner marketing team needs to ship a clean placement. The fact and bio layer covers the company itself, in the formats a fact-checker actually uses: a one-page PDF for skim-checks, three lengths of founder bio for whatever word count the article calls for, and a fast-facts table on this page that can be copy-pasted directly into a draft. The photography layer is release-signed on-the-job imagery, so a publication can run a photo without a separate consent round-trip.
For broader context on the company, see /about and /team; for what we have already been written about, see /press/coverage; and for partnership-driven press angles, see /partnerships.
Each pack downloads independently. The full kit ZIP at the top of the page bundles all six.
Copy-pasteable for fact-checkers. The PDF version of this table is in the "Fact sheet" asset pack above.
Approximately 450 words. Short and medium versions are inside the "Founder bio + headshots" download.
Alex Rivera is the founder and CEO of The Detail Crew, a Los Angeles residential cleaning company built on a W-2-only workforce, flat-rate pricing, and a deliberately narrow service radius across the Westside, Beverly Hills, the Palisades, and the central LA basin. The company operates a fleet of branded vehicles, runs a Spanish-bilingual ops desk, and structures its weekly and bi-weekly programs around routing density rather than the cheapest possible per-job cost.
Before founding The Detail Crew, Rivera spent nearly a decade in operations roles inside hospitality and short-term rental businesses, most of which depended on third-party cleaning contractors. The recurring failure mode — inconsistent turnover quality, no recourse on damage, and a labor pool with zero tie back to the company that customers thought they were hiring — became the design constraint for The Detail Crew. Every cleaner is a W-2 employee, every truck is owned by the company, every service call is logged against the same crew lead who started the relationship, and every dispute escalates to a person whose name and email address are published on the team page.
Rivera is available as a source on small-business operations in LA, the economics of moving a service workforce off 1099 onto W-2, post-wildfire residential remediation protocols, short-term rental turnover at quality grades typically reserved for hotels, and the gap between "eco-friendly" marketing and the actual EPA Safer Choice and Green Seal certified product lists. He has been a quoted source for the outlets summarized on /press/coverage, and is comfortable with podcast, on-camera, and on-the-record phone formats. The company's position on labor is summarized in the founder interviews at /press/interviews.
Rivera lives in Mid-City Los Angeles. Outside of the company, he serves as an informal mentor for early-stage founders coming out of LA's service economy and contributes time to local workforce-development programs focused on Spanish-speaking cleaners moving from gig work into full-employment roles. The Detail Crew supports several of these programs through in-kind training and equipment, and announces updates through its partnerships page.
All on-the-job photography in the press kit is shot in Los Angeles, signed off by the cleaners pictured under a written release, and credit-lined for use without further legal clearance in editorial contexts. Commercial reuse — including partner co-marketing, advertising, or repackaging into stock libraries — is not granted by default; please email press@thedetailcrew.net and we will scope a one-pager license for your use case.
For new shoots, ride-alongs, or staged portrait sessions, our ops team can usually accommodate a 24-to-48-hour turnaround given a target neighborhood, a desired service type, and a shot list.
"A press kit is just a promise to make a reporter's life easier on a Friday afternoon. We try to keep that promise."
Email press@thedetailcrew.net and we will turn it around inside two business hours.
